TOTF 2 Release Date

It’s 2024 and still no TOFT 2!!?!

First things first, when can we expect the game to drop? According to developer Ian Fitz, the game is currently in development, and has been delayed due to HalfBrick Reworking a lot of stuff. However, he’s careful not to make any promises, saying that they’re taking a “when it’s ready” approach. So, while we wait for a specific date, we’ll just have to continue hitting the virtual punching bag in the original game.

General rule of thumb from Ian is as follows “The takeaway is that if we’re not talking about the game yet then don’t expect it anytime soon. Somewhere in the 6-12 month range probably isn’t too far off, but I don’t have a release date to share even if you ask indirectly.”

Once we start to see the first gameplay footage a general rule of thumb is it’s about 3-6 months away. As of January 2024 Ian made this comment. “The 3 to 6 month thing is not 3 to 6 months from when you read the comment. It’s 3 to 6 months AFTER we start showing the game off, which we haven’t done yet. It’s also not a guarantee.”

Will Thrill of the Fight 2 Have Multiplayer?

One exciting aspect of Thrill of the Fight 2 is that it’s bringing multiplayer mode to the franchise. In the original game, players could only fight against AI opponents. However, in the sequel, you’ll be able to square off against other human players worldwide. It’ll be exciting to see how the boxing community fares against one another in VR. Creed is currently the leading game in multiplayer VR boxing so it will be interesting to see if TotF2 can take that crown.
