Beat Saber is a very intense VR rhythm game and while it can be physically demanding, it’s also quite a lot of fun. Which is why we created a list with some of the best Beat Saber tips that you can use in order to get better. It’s not always easy to try and improve especially when it comes to a game like this. But these tips will help you achieve that.
Set the floor height correctly
In doing so, you will find it a lot easier to jump and duck past obstacles. Even hitting the boxes can feel awkward if you don’t add the right floor height. Before you start a game, head to the settings menu and look for floor height.
Make sure that you have a good grip on the controller
Since Beat Saber is all about mastering the controller usage and striking the boxes with enough speed, you must have a very good grip. Make sure you’re strapped in tightly and have the wire running behind you. Our personal preference for playing Beat Saber is untethered on the Oculus Quest.
Start on easy and work your way up
There’s no point of taking on Expert + modes before you master the basics. We recommend working your way up from easy to medium and then hard first. Unfortunately, some of the really cool songs only come in expert mode and if you really want to play that then the next tip will help!
Practice mode
Practice makes perfect, this has been the norm for any game and Beat Saber is no different. If you want to get better and try out new mechanics, practicing is a very good idea. While you can’t rank with an official score it allows you not to fail and see the entire song out.
Take breaks
Believe it or not, taking breaks actually helps. Beat Saber is a game that will end up tiring you a lot since it’s so intense. So the best thing that you can do here is to actually take as many breaks as you can to improve your gameplay routine. Breaks will help you cool down, rest and then you can have another go. Remember to stay hydrated!
These tips should help you play Beat Saber better than ever before and it’s a very good way to boost your gameplay routine. It all comes down to not giving up and working hard to improve your current mechanics. Add some new music if you can and try out various genres. Every change you make will eventually help you get better at Beat Baber!
