The Pico 4 is a standalone VR headset that has often been overlooked due to its perceived lack of a strong game library. However, if you take the time to look through the Pico Store, you might be surprised it has around 70% of the Quest games and a few of it’s own exclusives.
In this article, we will highlight some of the best games available for the Pico 4 that are definitely worth checking out. Whether you’re a fan of action, adventure, puzzle-solving, or something in between, there’s something here for everyone. So don’t let the Pico 4’s reputation fool you – there are still some fantastic games to be played on this stand-alone device.

Get ready to groove! Audio Trip is a VR game that lets you move to the rhythm of popular songs by artists like Lady Gaga, PSY and Skrillex. You can select from different levels of difficulty and choreography, or upload and create your own custom songs for unlimited fun.
One of the best features is the “cardio mode” that increases the speed of the dancing, making it a fun and effective way to work out. It works great on a stand alone device like the Pico 4, without being tied to your pc.

19. Rampage Agents

Want to play Borderlands on your Pico 4? Well, this is the closest thing you’ll find. It has 35 really fun and engaging weapons, four different champions with unique abilities, boss fights, shiny loot and upgrades and a fully fledged talent system.
Rampage even has multiplayer with matchmaking and looks like they will have seasonal rewards which just adds to the replayability. They now also have battle royal mode and is cross play between Steam, Quest and Pico.

18. Creed

Creed is the best boxing game available to Pico 4 users. This game is based on the popular Creed movie franchise and lets you step into the shoes of Adonis Creed, the son of Apollo Creed. You can train with Rocky Balboa and fight against iconic opponents from the films. The game uses advanced motion capture technology and haptic feedback to create a realistic and immersive boxing simulation. You can dodge, block, and punch with natural movements and feel the impact of every hit. Creed: Rise to Glory is a game that will appeal to both boxing enthusiasts and VR fans who want a thrilling and satisfying experience.
What brings it down slightly is unlike the Quest version, Pico 4 users don’t have access to multiplayer yet (which is still not out ).

You can choose your own path and interact with the characters and environments of Wonderland. The game is a 3D diorama that surrounds you and changes depending on your decisions. You will face puzzles, secrets and consequences as you go down the rabbit hole.
What I liked most about this game was the humor sprinkled throughout!

15. Mutrix: Pico 4 Exclusive

Mutrix is a free-to-play Beat Saber clone for the Pico 4. It’s no where near as good as the original but since it doesn’t look like Beat Saber will be making it’s way to the Pico 4 any time soon and after troubling news of Pico laying off the “Beat Saber” killer project, Mutrix is what we will have to put up with.

14. Contractors
Are you curious about how virtual reality games like Halo and Battlefront 2 are played in VR? Look no further than Contractors VR. This military-themed competitive multiplayer shooter game is available for virtual reality devices and offers a variety of lethal weapons for players to choose from and customize their loadouts with. Engage in intense firefights with other players in various game modes, including a co-op mission mode and a zombie survival mode.
As of August 2023 we are still waiting on a patch to fix a few issues with mod support. But once that’s sorted we expect this to be a crowd pleasure.

Blaston is an amazing 1v1 shooter game that you can enjoy for free on the Pico 4. The goal is to blast your opponent with weapons while avoiding their shots. The cool thing about the game is that all shots move in slow motion, so you have to use your body to dodge them. The gameplay is super fun and exhilarating.
The game also has a competitive aspect with ranks and seasons to challenge yourself, giving you a sense of achievement and inspiration to keep playing. The community in Blaston is awesome and respectful, with players often greeting each other before and after each match.
