20. Audio Trip

Audio Trip gameplay trailer

Get ready to groove! Audio Trip is a most fun Pico 4 games that lets you move to the rhythm of popular songs by artists like Lady Gaga, PSY and Skrillex. You can select from different levels of difficulty and choreography, or upload and create your own custom songs for unlimited fun.

One of the best features is the “cardio mode” that increases the speed of the dancing, making it a fun and effective way to work out. It works great on a stand alone device like the Pico 4, without being tied to your pc.

In my opinion, it’s almost as fun as Beat Saber but a little bit easier on your joints.

rampage-vr gameplay

Want to play Borderlands on your Pico 4? Well, this is the closest thing you’ll find. It has 35 really fun and engaging weapons, four different champions with unique abilities, boss fights, shiny loot and upgrades and a fully fledged talent system.

Rampage even has multiplayer with matchmaking and looks like they will have seasonal rewards which just adds to the replayability. They now also have battle royal mode and is cross play between Steam, Quest and Pico. The best part? ITS NOW FREE! They even have a battle royal mode and it looks like the developers are constantly adding new content into the game for us to enjoy.

18. Creed

creed-vr gameplay

Creed is the best boxing game available to us Pico 4 users. This game is based on the popular Creed movie franchise and lets you step into the shoes of Adonis Creed, the son of Apollo Creed. You can train with Rocky Balboa and fight against iconic opponents from the films. The game uses advanced motion capture technology and haptic feedback to create a realistic and immersive boxing simulation. You can dodge, block, and punch with natural movements and feel the impact of every hit. Creed: Rise to Glory is a game that will appeal to both boxing enthusiasts and VR fans who want a thrilling and satisfying experience.

What brings it down slightly is unlike the Quest version, Pico 4 users don’t have access to multiplayer yet (which is still not out – even a year later). I love it for is music and workout benefits.

17. Crimen: Mercenary Tales

Launch Trailer for Crimen

Crimen is a 2023 swordfight fighting game that combines humor and skill in a thrilling adventure, and it offers a great value for money. The game features 8 levels of increasing difficulty, where you have to fight off enemies using swords and guns. The combat system is based on parrying and counter-attacking, which makes you feel like a real warrior.

The game also has a hilarious story that keeps you entertained throughout. You never know what will happen next, as the game throws unexpected surprises at you. Crimen is a VR game that delivers on both fun and challenge, and I feel like this one never quite the attention it deserved. If you are looking for a VR game that will make you laugh and sweat, Crimen is the one for you! Read our full review

16. Down the Rabbit Hole

Video Trailer for down the Rabbit Hole

Down the Rabbit Hole is one of the best VR games for the Pico 4 that lets you explore Wonderland before Alice arrives. You play as a girl who is looking for her lost pet, Patches, in this strange world. You can choose your own path and interact with the characters and environments of Wonderland. The game is a 3D diorama that surrounds you and changes depending on your decisions. You will face puzzles, secrets and consequences as you go down the rabbit hole.

What I liked most about this game was the humor sprinkled throughout and the intuitive controls. If you like games like Moss, then this is well worth checking out.

15. Mutrix: Pico 4 Exclusive

Mutrix is a free-to-play Beat Saber clone for the Pico 4. It’s no where near as good as the original but since it doesn’t look like Beat Saber will be making it’s way to the Pico 4 any time soon and after troubling news of Pico laying off the “Beat Saber” killer project, Mutrix is what we will have to put up with.

The best part of Mutrix is that you can upload custom songs from Beatsaver but something with the controls just feels slightly off compared to the original.

All-in-one Sports VR is a game that lets you play 13 sports in VR, either solo or with other players online. The sports included are baseball, archery, table tennis, basketball, bowling, badminton, golf, dart, billiard, boxing, tennis, volleyball, and squash. If you liked Wii Sports then this will be right up your alley.

This game doesn’t isn’t super realistic with it’s physics engine or level of detail for it’s gameplay but is a great introduction to VR sports. I think it’s a great game to share and kids love it.

Swarm is an intense and challenging virtual reality action game that has earned the reputation of being a “grapple shooter,” blending elements of Spiderman with gunplay. Players are armed with a grappling hook and a variety of guns and must use these tools to fight through waves of enemies and navigate through levels.

The game’s fluid movement system, which allows players to swing through levels with the grappling hook at high speeds, and its challenging gameplay are standout features. Swarm features five distinct zones, each with its own unique hazards and mission types, culminating in a final boss fight. In addition to its arcade-style gameplay, the game also offers power-ups, leaderboards, and global rankings for players to compete with one another.

10. Blaston

Blaston is an amazing 1v1 shooter game that you can enjoy for free on the Pico 4. The goal is to blast your opponent with weapons while avoiding their shots. The cool thing about the game is that all shots move in slow motion, so you have to use your body to dodge them. The gameplay is super fun and exhilarating.

The game also has a competitive aspect with ranks and seasons to challenge yourself, giving you a sense of achievement and inspiration to keep playing. The community in Blaston is awesome and respectful, with players often greeting each other before and after each match. I like that it means I never miss leg day and it’s probably my favorite F2P Pico 4 game.

9. Blade and Sorcery: Nomad

Blade and Sorcery: Nomad Trailer

Blade and Sorcery: Nomad is a standalone version of the popular RPG combat simulator for the Pico 4. It is known for its immersive and realistic combat mechanics, which require players to put effort and precision into their attacks to be successful.

The game accurately simulates the weight of weapons and requires players to use their wrists to wield them realistically. The combat is also highly entertaining, allowing players to slice, stab, and pulverize enemies with ease using swords, hatchets, and magical abilities. The game has a humorous element as well, featuring dead-eyed, mannequin-like enemies and the possibility of unexpected events occurring.

A must pick up for RPG and sword fighting lovers!

Players must navigate a post-apocalyptic world overrun by zombies, scavenging for supplies and fighting off the undead and other dangers. Players must utilize this feature to avoid bullets and defeat enemies, using a variety of weapons and tactics. The game features a campaign mode with progressively challenging levels, as well as a survival mode and other challenges to keep players on their toes. Superhot VR is recognized for its innovative gameplay and stylish visual design.

The game offers a range of game modes, including seasons, tournaments, and weapon skins, as well as procedurally generated worlds and epic boss battles.

Players must navigate through floating castles in different realms to restore balance and defeat forsaken souls and angelic creatures. In Death: Unchain has received praise from Forbes and The Verge for being the best VR archery game on the market and one of the most visually impressive Pico games. The game’s “Siege of Heaven” gate-defense mode is suitable for players of all skill levels and is my favorite mode to play in this Pico 4 game.

The game offers a range of levels and gameplay modes to keep things interesting. Honorable mention: Virtual Desktop

There is a reason why Virtual Desktop is the number one paid app on the Pico store.

While we wait for the Pico Store to fill out you are able to connect your Pico 4 to a PC through Virtual Desktop (paid) or their own stream assistant (free). This allows you to access a much larger game library and play almost any PCVR game. The configurable settings in Virtual Desktop, such as bitrate, render resolution, and other visual and audio options, can improve the quality of your VR experience when playing PCVR games
