Good news for PSVR fans. Sony has announced that it will bring the popular virtual reality (VR) game Beat Saber to its upcoming PSVR 2 headset. The game, which was developed by Meta-owned studio Beat Games, was announced during Sony’s CES 2023 keynote and is currently “in development” for the new VR headset.
It is not yet clear if Meta will offer PSVR 2 support as a free upgrade to owners of the game on the original PSVR, or if it will be sold as a separate purchase. The release date for Beat Saber on PSVR 2 has not been announced.
The new PSVR 2 headset is set to launch on 22 February and will cost $549.99 / €599.99 / £529.99. It will be accompanied by a range of other games, including Gran Turismo 7, which will be available as a free upgrade.
